A little confused about Seven Pounds

I've watched the trailers but have had a hard time forming an opinion about whether I want to go see Seven Pounds or not. I think mainly because I'm trying to figure out what it's really about. Is it just me, or does anyone else feel the same way? I love Will Smith though so it probably wouldn't take much nudging for me to see it regardless. lol. (original story)
